On bank holiday Monday it was my friend's, the lovely Kathy of 5678 vintage, birthday. So we celebrated with a picnic in her little garden in Hackney which she styled perfectly with rugs, bunting and polaroids. I made marshmallow cupcakes and a now-famous coconut meringue cloud cake as well as salads and we drank Pimms all day long before heading to the local for a swift pint to conclude the day - bliss!
